Here I go!

Hi Friends!

Here is the blog! YEA! I hope you all continue to check in on what God is doing in and around me throughout this journey. I am excited and nervous all rolled into one. Thank you all for your support and prayers.

I plan to write updates on this blog whenever possible. I think it will be a fun way to document all that God is doing and all that I am learning. Plus, it will give me a link to all of you. Please feel free to leave comments and let me know what is going on in your lives. I would love to know those things.

I graduate this Friday at 7:00pm. Then on Saturday at 11:00am we are having a celebration and sending service at Living Hope in room 200. Please know you are all invited to come. We are going to have a time of fellowship, praise, and prayer for the journey ahead. I would love to see you there.

This Sunday will be my last Sunday at Living Hope before I leave. I am so blessed to have such an amazing home church. You all encourage me so much.

Well, I have one more journal article that I need to finish up before all is said and done with my school work. So, off I go to complete that.

God Bless
Rachel

  1. Let's see.....what is going on in my life....my BFF is leaving for 8 LONG months!!! WAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I am so excited to see what God is going to do with you and through you! You are an amazing, godly woman and there is no doubt God has gone before you to set the path you're about to travel.

I love you soooooooooooooo much and if I survive the next 8 months without you, I'll be ready to sit for an entire month and hear about the incredible things that have happened in your life!

  3. Rachel... you will be in our prayers. We love you and can't wait to hear all the amazing things God does through your obedience. Thank you for letting God shine through you.

By the way CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You are finally done with school. I can remember now all those conversations on how overwhelmed and inadequate we were for grad school. You have finished this race--good job faithful student. Now there is a new race, begin anew with the knowledge that with Christ all is possible.

  4. Melodi,

First of all...I can't even go there yet. I am totally going to do the "ugly" cry when I have to leave. I am avoiding the topic!!!! Let's just say that God is gracious in allowing us to develop the webcam because I can't go 8 months without some BFF time. Of course that time will have to be at like 3am since you will have 2 five year olds, a 3 year old, and a 2 year old!!!! YEA!
